Free In-Store Alterations
We understand that everybody is unique.
We offer one complimentary first-time alteration at our store for all Aara products to help ensure the perfect fit. If your outfit feels slightly loose or tight, you’re welcome to bring it to our store and we’ll take care of the necessary adjustments. In case you choose to mail the garment to us for alterations, the shipping charges will need to be borne by the customer. Please feel free to contact us if you need any clarification or assistance.

At Aara Boutique, each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted. We want you to love your purchase, and if something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in ensuring every order leaves our studio in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or defective, please let us know within 24 hours of delivery.
To help us assess the issue quickly and fairly, we kindly ask that you share:
- A clear unboxing video showing the package being opened.
- Photos, if applicable, highlighting the concern.
Once we've reviewed your request, we'll gladly offer either a replacement or store credit, depending on your preference and the nature of the issue.
Alterations & Sizing
To help you achieve the perfect fit, we offer one complimentary first-time alteration on all Aara garments at our boutique.
If you're unable to visit us and would like to courier your garment for alterations, we'll be happy to assist. We simply ask that the shipping costs to and from our studio be arranged by the customer.
As many of our pieces are thoughtfully tailored and finished, we aren't able to offer returns or exchanges for sizing preferences. If you're unsure about sizing before placing an order, we'd love to help you choose the best fit.
Custom & Made-to-Measure Orders
Every custom order is created especially for you—from fabric selection to finishing details—making each garment truly one of a kind.
Because of the personalised nature of these pieces, custom, made-to-measure, and bespoke orders cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
If your custom order arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with an unboxing video. We'll review the issue promptly and work with you to find the most suitable resolution.

Aara Boutique – Wash Care Instructions
Taking proper care of your Indian and Indo-Western outfits helps them stay beautiful and last longer. Here are the recommended guidelines.
Wash Care for Simple Indian Clothing
Hand wash garments separately in cold water for the first few washes and use only mild detergent. Avoid soaking them for long periods. If machine washing, choose a gentle cycle with cold water and similar colours. Dry the garments in shade and iron them inside out on medium heat.
Wash Care for Embroidered, Zari, Mirrorwork & Delicate Outfits
Dry cleaning is recommended for all outfits with heavy embroidery. For light embroidery that you choose to wash at home, use cold water and a very mild detergent, and never scrub or wring the fabric. Avoid machine washing embroidered pieces entirely. Keep embellishments away from direct heat, store the garments flat or inside a muslin cloth, and always iron them on the reverse side using low heat. Avoid steaming directly on embroidery.
Extra Tips
Silk, organza, and tissue fabrics should always be dry cleaned. Store your outfits in cotton or muslin garment bags and air out heavy outfits before putting them away. You may also use moisture absorbers, ensuring they do not come in direct contact with the fabric.
